Position Description

ChristianaCare is currently seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for our OBGYN practice located in Kennett Square, PA. This nurse is part of a nursing team and rotates to support practices located at PMRI in DE and Concord, PA. They support a team of 11 providers and 2 hospitalists that float between the three locations as mentioned.

Work Hours :

  • Monday- Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
  • No weekends or holidays

Position Highlights

  • Telephone triage
  • In person Nurse Office Visits to include things like blood pressure checks, medication administration, an urine dips for OB patients, etc.
  • Conducts new OB interviews over the phone.
  • Medication referrals and prior authorizations.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • A graduate of a state approved or National League of Nursing accredited School of Nursing
  • RN license or eligible for licensure to practice in the states of Delaware and Pennsylvania.
  • Two years’ experience as a RN, physician office experience preferred
  • BSN preferred; ADN considered with agreement of completion of BSN in 3 years
